2-on-1 Ka Huna is a type of massage therapy that involves two practitioners working simultaneously, creating a synchronised massage. During the 2-on-1 massage, the practitioners mirror each other, with one practitioner taking the lead while the other follows. The practitioners usually use a trance-like, non-stop flow, combining long flowing strokes, simultaneous moving and stretching of limbs, with other sensory techniques which are designed to completely disarm the mind and relax the body
Clients can request special attention for one area of the body, such as the back or legs, and the practitioners will tailor the session to the needs of the client. Deep work can also be applied during a 2-on-1 session with one practitioner offering comforting and soothing strokes to counteract the other practitioners deeper effective touch.
